Adrian Kinderis is the founder and CEO of the AusRegistry Group of companies including AusRegistry Pty Ltd and AusRegistry International Pty Ltd.

AusRegistry is the Registry Operator and wholesale domain name provider for the .au ccTLD. AusRegistry International Pty Ltd is the sales and consultancy arm designed to bring the skills, technology and experience gained from the .au ccTLD to a global audience.

Adrian is a veteran of the internet community who, on the basis of his wide range of experience in both Registrar and Registry Operator roles, was elected by the Registrar Constituency to the GNSO Council for ICANN. In this role he has, amongst other bodies of work, contributed to the document 'Introduction of New Generic Top-Level Domains Document (11 September 2007)' which was recently ratified by the ICANN board and forms the major component to the next phase of development for the internet.

Adrian is an in demand speaker, regularly presenting key note addresses at industry conferences on topics as diverse as: Registry Operations, Registry Best Practice, Domain Name Management, Registry-Registrar models and Marketing TLDs. He is also a seasoned campaigner of the ICANN trail, having attended over 28 ICANN meetings over the past ten years.

As a true entrepreneur, Adrian has a passion for business development that has seen the AusRegistry group of companies grow rapidly, and is committed to establishing AusRegistry International as the Registry Operator of choice for new generic TLDs as the internet continues to develop.

Adrian lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife Jennifer and has passion for fast cars, and is a tireless supporter of his beloved Australian Rules Football club, the North Melbourne Kangaroos.

Simon Delzoppo

Managing Director

Simon Delzoppo is Managing Director of AusRegistry International. Having co-founded the AusRegistry Group in 2000, an ICANN accredited Registrar and web-hosting company, Simon was instrumental in the inception of AusRegistry Pty Ltd.

Under Simon's direction, AusRegistry International has developed world leading technology, enhanced security features and forged strategic partnerships with leading Australian and international businesses. Simon has a wealth of senior management, project management and human resources experience with SME and large enterprise. Simon is an active member of the .au Domain Administration's (auDA) Technical Committee and Names Panel Committee and a regular contributor to auDA policy reviews. Simon previously managed corporate telecommunications and security electronics companies where he developed skills in all facets of business including accounting, budgeting, sales, strategic planning, administration and human resources.

Raymond Zylstra

International Operations Manager

Raymond Zylstra is the International Operations Manager for AusRegistry International. His passion for the implementation of Registry Best Practice has seen him consult with numerous ccTLD Operators, Regulators and Administrators.

Raymond has been instrumental in the implementation of new policies and procedures at for the AusRegistry Group,resulting in better Quality Assurance systems and higher levels of customer satisfaction. His hands-on approach has gained him the respect of his staff and ensures senior management involvement in daily projects.

Raymond is experienced in budget preparation and financial reporting, preparing and presenting staff training programs, organisation of major events and management of large staff numbers.

Prior to working for ARI, Raymond had over ten years previous experience in managing operations for one of Australia's leading entertainment and hospitality venues. His hard work and dedication saw him rise through the ranks and gain valuable experience in people management and relations, human resources, training, organisational management, change management and the provision of award winning customer service.

Raymond's recent work for ARI has seen him manage the deployment of the new Registry System in the UAE, development of Policy for the Registry Operator and advice and assistance in the implementation of the newly established organisation that will oversee the ongoing management of the .ae Domain Name.

Raymond's focus on providing a strong foundation on which to base operations, intimate knowledge of the Domain Name Industry, and focus on the experience of end users is reflective of his passion and dedication to his role.

Chris Wright

Chief Technology Officer

  • Consulted and given many presentations to various Australian government departments and international forums on Domain Name Registry principles and Domain Name Registry management

Chris Wright designed, configured and managed the construction of the current AusRegistry International EPP Registry System on an open source Linux platform, which was one of the first Domain Name Registry Systems in the world to feature "real time" dynamic DNS updates. He is charged with the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Registry and its associated DNS and WhoIs services.

Chris has vast experience with Registry and open source software development. Prior to becoming the .au Registry operator, AusRegistry was a well-established ICANN accredited Domain Name Registrar for whom Chris designed and managed the infrastructure, Registry-Registrar interface systems and Registration System.

Chris has consulted and given many presentations to various Australian government departments and international forums on Domain Name Registry principles and Domain Name Registry management. Chris has studied Computer Science and has extensive experience as a systems engineer and software architect. Chris's recent work for AusRegistry International has seen him design and deploy the new Domain Name Registry System for the United Arab Emirates.

Tony Kirsch

Senior Manager - International Business Development

Tony Kirsch initially joined the AusRegistry Group of companies in an account management role within subsidiary MyLink Wireless after extensive postgraduate studies in business administration, focusing on international business and online strategy,

After working his way up within the organisation, Tony commenced work with AusRegistry International as a Project Manager for a number of years and was instrumental in the design, delivery and management of the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Registry as a strategic liaison for the Australian Government (Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator) which has been operated by AusRegistry International on behalf of the Government since 2006.

The REC Registry system is key to Australia's commitment to the stimulation of the renewable energy production industry within Australia and holds over AUD 1 billion worth of assets on behalf of the government and large industry.

After a short time away from the business working in sales and marketing roles with some of Australia's largest Telecommunications organisations, Tony recommenced his working life with AusRegistry International and is now in currently responsible AusRegistry International's Sales and Marketing function, directing a team of international business development and marketing consultants in obtaining strategic opportunities across the globe and building relationships with key stakeholders within the Domain Name industry and beyond.

In particular, Tony works closely within the ICANN framework of policies and procedures to ensure that AusRegistry International's products and services accurately match those of our clients and industry best practice. In particular, Tony is responsible for AusRegistry International's new gTLD products and services and all strategic relationships regarding the new gTLD program.

Jon Lawrence

Business Development Consultant

Jon Lawrence has extensive experience in the Domain Name Industry, that began with his first role in the industry processing .com.au Domain Name applications at what was then Internet Names Australia in 1999. Jon has since worked with a number of Domain Registrars across the retail, corporate and wholesale sectors in Australia, US, UK and Denmark.

Now back home in Melbourne, Jon brings his extensive Product Management, Business Development and Account Management experience and his detailed industry knowledge and is a welcome addition to the AusRegistry International team.

Jon is focused on developing relationships with country code (ccTLD) Registry Operators around the world to build on the successes that AusRegistry International has already enjoyed in this market.

Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the Open University (UK) and is currently studying towards a Master of International Relations at the University of Melbourne.

Maggie Whitnall

Business Development Consultant

Maggie Whitnall has developed and implemented procedures to facilitate the accurate communication of Registry information to AusRegistry International clients, Registrars, industry stakeholders, and the public. Maggie consults frequently on policy related issues, Domain Name Registry implementations and Registrar performance. Maggie also organises educational and Registrar seminars. Maggie works actively with AusRegistry International clients, in a training and consultancy capacity, to achieve an open line of communication concerning the running of their Domain Name Registry Systems, both on a technical and administrative level. In addition, Maggie assists with the presentation and implementation of AusRegistry International marketing initiatives.

Michael Twist

Michael Twist has spent the last 8 years working in a Business Development capacity for both Global and National organizations. With a clear focus on engaging key stakeholders he has been successful in securing consulting services to some of the most recognized brands in their industries.

Michael is now focused on educating and developing the corporate market in relation to the new gTLD program and continuing to cement AusRegistry International as one of the global Registry Operators of choice.

With experience across a variety of industry sectors and in a number of different disciplines, Michael brings with him the knowledge and ability to consult with any business looking to protect and grow their brand through the creativity and innovation offered in this exciting new evolution.

Chris Shaw

Registrar Liaison

Chris Shaw has considerable account management and marketing experience in the IT Services industry and prior to joining AusRegistry International held various marketing roles across a wide range of industries in some of Australia's largest organisations in the IT, Energy and Finance sectors.

In his role at AusRegistry International, Chris is actively involved in the dissemination of communications to a range of key stakeholders including Registrars, industry participants and media outlets. His core focus is to facilitate smooth and reliable relationships with Registrars, whilst assisting them to deliver equal rates of success to their clients via his management of service standards and reporting mechanisms.

Chris is also responsible for marketing initiatives in the .au domain industry and generally working with Registrars to ensure the ongoing health and growth of the .au industry. Additionally, Chris manages the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Registry account for AusRegistry International which is a key software platform for the Australian Federal Government.s Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University.

Jack Simpson

Marketing and Communications Manager

Jack Simpson is a results driven, multi-skilled marketer with extensive experience in brand planning and communications strategy. He is an accomplished professional with a strong track record of implementing marketing strategies that drive positive return on investment.

His career began on the agency side of fence in 2002, where he worked as an account manager, new business lead and strategic planner on a selection of the world's leading brands in both digital and traditional channels. He carries a passion for strong brands that deliver insight lead communication and has worked extensively in the Business to Business technology space prior to joining the AusRegistry International tem in early 2010.

Jack holds a bachelor of Business/Marketing from Victoria University and has undertaken post graduate studies in digital strategy and brand planning with the Advertising Federation of Australia.

Axia Jarnblad

Marketing Assistant

Originally from Sweden, Axia has travelled extensively and has worked in various roles across a wide range of industries around the world. Involved initially in varying areas of the telecommunications industry in Sweden, Axia has more recently gone on to be involved with one of Australia's premier entertainment venues.

Axia's wide ranging role as Marketing Assistant involves finding new and innovative methods to promote the company as well as assisting the Sales and Marketing Team in their day to day activities. Additionally, Axia is responsible for the ongoing management of the AusRegistry International website and associated content.

Her passion for marketing and international cultural diversity places her as the ideal person to support the AusRegistry International team to deliver Registry Services to our clients globally.
